Studio Portrait
The black back drop has one light coming in from the top right and the white back drop has all three studio lights in the photo. The bottom middle photo has the light hitting her right cheek which created shadow on the left side. The model is positioned slightly to the side and is photographed just from the shoulders up. I photographed all the photos horizontal besides the bottom middle. All the photos were photographed straight on and was fairly close to all the models. Most of the images reveal a mysterious side.
Self Portrait Homework
The first and the last images were taken with a self timer. All the images however, were taken around 3 o'clock in the afternoon near a window or outside. One of the compositional tools that was considered when taking these images was the rule of thirds. Although I did not set the white balance, ISO, or shutter speed, they were set on cloudy, 600 and a fast shutter speed. I photographed myself looking straight in to the camera and looking away, and my feet. My self portrait is not a selfie because I'm not holding the camera out.
Double Exposure
For my double exposure the photos selected were three portraits, two studio portraits and one self portrait. The images selected to overlap was a close up photo of a tree, flowers, and a landscape of a pond.
