Painting With Light
The pictures that were taken above were in the dark performing arts center. All of the photos had a shutter speed of 15 seconds. The first photo was created by the light of a camera phone flash. The heart was drawn and after is was drawn I turned off the flash so it wouldn't leave a trace of light that wasn't needed. That image was achieved by repeating the heart many times because most of the time it was not in frame. The photo has a positive impact, if someone saw this photo they would have a positive reaction because it's a heart and its not scary.
Motion
The images that were taken about are a combination of fast shutter speed and slow shutter speed. The white balance used for all of them with the exception of the last was on cloudy. The only fast shutter speed picture was the top right picture. The shutter speed was approximately 1/160 of a second with an ISO of 400. The action that was froze was Ali jumping from one stone to the other. The distance was fairly far from the subject and was slightly pointing upward from the subject. The photos are all in black and white and the only prop used was in the first photo. The rule of thirds was not considered while shooting. In the second photo above a shutter speed of 1/15 of a second was used to create the blur of the same action done in the top right picture. The ISO was at 400 and with a cloudy white balance. The camera was also positioned at the same angle as the top right photo.

Aperture/Depth of Field
The f-stop my camera was set to create a shallow depth of field was f5.6. The ISO and white balance used for the studio images was 800 and with a white balance set to fluorescent. However, on the images that were taken outside has an ISO of 200 with the white balance set to cloudy. The f-stop used to create a large depth of field was f11. I think the shallow depth of field is better and the large depth of field would be good to use when you want everything to be in focus.

Shadow/Reflection
The images above were all taken around four to five in the afternoon right as the sun would set. All the images with the exception of the second to last was taken on my camera phone. The first image was a shadow on a curtain from my living room. The second image was taken from the passenger seat of a car and shows the reflection of buildings from Fall River on the car. The last image is an image of shadow created by the blinds and the curtain. That image incorporates lots of line and texture of the curtain. The image has a sense of mystery.
