Line and Shape
The pictures that were taken above were taken in the school library and the subject matter was books. They are all pictures of different books and taken different angles. Most of the pictures that were taken were up close and personal. In some of the photos there was some natural light shinning through. The first picture above in particular would be one of my favorite. The photo was taken very up close and straight on. That photograph was also taken horizontal along with all the other photos. While shooting the photos I did consider the rule of thirds in the first and last picture. I think that the third photo is a dynamic composition by leading the viewers eye.
Pattern and Texture
The pictures that were take above for the most part with the exception of the first one are up close shots. Most of the shots were taken straight on except the forth and the fifth picture. The forth picture was taken more from above and the fifth was taken from below. All the photos that were taken are horizontal. In some of the photos I did consider the rule of thirds. I used that rule for the forth and fifth photo. I used that rule of thirds in those because it looked more interesting when it wasn't centered. One of my favorite pictures that represents texture is the fifth photo because I like the shadows that were created in-between the creases of the curtain. One of the photos the could be considered overexposed would be the second photo because there is some detail lost on the tree. A photo that might be underexposed would be the fifth photo because it is a bit darker than the rest of the pictures. And I think the last one properly exposed.
